RL Upgrade

Upgrade of IceSpy RL system (System4)

It is possible to upgrade an older RL system to take advantage of the better reporting and alarm options of System5. The older collection units are replaced by Hybrid Base or BasePlus units which are capable of communicating with the existing transmitters, probes and repeater units. All the advantages of the System5 software can then be accessed.

The advantages of upgrading from an RL to a Hybrid system are:

• An automated system that continuously downloads data to a PC - no need to manually download data files.
• A greatly improved software interface.
• Temperature records can be easily saved in a number of Windows formats (e.g. PDF, Excel, HTML).
• More flexible remote alarm options (e.g. multiple recipients for SMS and email, repeat alarms, power-cut alarms, loss of data alarms, alarm scheduling according to time of day/day of week).
• Real time monitoring of temperature data from your PCs.
• Multiple users are able to view data simultaneously.
• Data from all base units will be viewable within one screen.
• Local flashing/beeping alarms possible from each base unit.
• Possiblity of sending text message alarms from the PC, thereby negating the need for a phone line for each base unit.
• Option of "Extra Secure" software that aids 21-CFR compliance.
