Microwave moisture measurement systems

Microwave measurement processes are dielectric measurement processes where the ratio of the dielectric constant (DC) of water and the material is determined. Even small quantities of water can be easily detected due to the great difference between these two values.

The mobile moisture measurement device MOIST 200 is based on this progressive measurement principle, wherein the water content of most construction materials can be determined without destruction.

The range of applications extends from the precise measurement of materials with low moisture content to common technical moisture problems, for example in building diagnostics in the medium moisture range, to the high moisture range, e.g. for measurements in organic materials.

Mobile microwave moisture measuring device for measuring and saving up to 2000 measured values, with convenient processing of measured data and statistical functions, creation of tables and measurement fields. Battery capacity > 72 hours of use. Includes Moist-P and Moist-R1 microwave measuring heads, rechargeable batteries, mains adaptor with charging circuit, RS-232 interface, storage case.

Telescopic extension
The compact and sturdy telescopic extension can be extended to different lengths up to two metres and holds the measuring heads in a double-jointed attachment that allows the measuring head to be aligned perpendicular to the object being measured from virtually any angle. This increases the area of coverage to 4 m x 2.5 m (10 m²).

For the graphical display of data; incl. PC connecting cable.

Moist-Bio microwave measuring head
Sturdy penetration applicator for the measurement of moisture in bulk materials and heaps of organic and inorganic materials. Measurement range approx. 15 to 20 cm height with a radius of 30 to 50 cm (measured volume 50 to 100 litres).
